Atelier 21 is a forward-thinking school built to prepare children for the future. It focuses on learner-led studies, helping young people develop independence, curiosity, and critical thinking.

Recognised by Big Education as part of the “Next Big Ten,” the school is known for its innovative approach and has shared its ideas at the World Education Summit. It is also part of the Rethinking Assessment coalition, working with educators and organisations to improve how students are assessed.

As the UK’s first inquiry-based “Future School” for ages 4–16, Atelier 21 offers a modern, engaging learning experience. Learners follow the International Baccalaureate (IB), a globally respected programme that promotes academic achievement, global awareness, and strong thinking skills. The Middle Years Programme (ages 11–16) is recognised as equivalent to GCSEs and prepares learners for further study and a wide range of future careers.
